As a local Veteran owned business, we at Goodpaster take seriously the commitment to giving back to our community, supporting our veterans and glorifying God in all we do. Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting local veteran, Wayne Haines, and his service dog, Charlie.
Wayne told us the story of how he connected with his service dog, all because of Warrior Freedom Service Dogs. Warrior Freedom Service Dogs has an incredible mission to help veterans with post-traumatic stress, reconnect with society through the use of trained service dogs.
Haines is a Vietnam War veteran who served in the U.S. Army for 25 years. Wayne and his wife, Christina, say Charlie has transformed their lives.
Goodpaster Painting was given the opportunity to partner with Plainview Outdoor, using billboards to thank veterans and, active service members during
MilitaryAppreciationMonth, (May). In Addition to try to bring more awareness, to this great local organization supporting our veterans, Warrior Freedom Service Dogs. We got to meet with the folks at Warrior Freedom Service Dogs, along with our friends at Plainview Outdoor, to hear more about how Warrior Freedom is changing veterans’ lives.
It was great learning more about how we can support this organization!
